On Thursday, 2 July 2026, a devastating and rapidly spreading wildfire raged along the French Mediterranean coast between Sainte-Marie-la-Mer and Canet-en-Roussillon.
Our long-standing LeadingCampings member, Le Brasilia, was severely affected. Large parts of this popular holiday resort were destroyed.
Fortunately, guests and staff were able to be brought to safety. Behind the visible damage, however, are people – staff, colleagues and families – whose lives have been profoundly affected by this disaster.

Le Brasilia has been part of the LeadingCampings family for many years. LeadingCampings brings together independent, owner-run campsites and holiday resorts across Europe.
