Here is an important information for LeadingCard holders: As you know, bonus points on the LeadingCard have a validity of three years. Due to the travel restrictions in spring 2020, we suspended the expiry of the points. It was foreseeable, that our guests would have no or only extremely limited opportunities to visit our campsites and redeem points. It was not until the second half of this year, that the expiry of points started again. Our guests should have the opportunity to use the points threatened with expiry during this period, in which travel and redemption were not possible as usual, for 15 months longer than usual. Unfortunately, this did not work in practice due to a system error: With the resumption of the points expiry, it now simply continues, where it was stopped, i.e. points from 2018 are currently expiring. This is absolutely not in our interest and we apologise for this. Together with the system provider, we are currently working feverishly to reactivate the points, that have now expired too early. And because this solution cannot be implemented from one day to the next, the points will not be valid for 15 months longer, as originally intended, but for 18 months longer. In this context, we have two appeals: Firstly, please abstain from complaining about erroneously expired points at the moment - we are already working on the correction. Secondly, please check your LeadingCard points account at regular intervals. If in approximately three months you still cannot find a correction of points, that have now wrongly expired, please contact us. We regret the inconvenience and hope for a quick repair.
