During creative workshops on holiday at Turiscampo Camping Club Algarve, you can design traditional tiles, known as azulejos. Or you can make clay jugs using historical methods. Whether pottery, painting or even weaving techniques handed down for generations – in 2- to 3-hour workshops, you can learn more about the craftsmanship of the Algarve and produce a special souvenir. An organic herb and vegetable garden awaits you at LeadingCamping Barco Reale. It is traditionally laid out in the Tuscan terraced style. Campers who enjoy good, local produce can get involved. As a guest at Camping Barco Reale, you can harvest your own courgettes, cucumbers, pumpkins and sun-ripened tomatoes and prepare them fresh. The matching Italian herbs also grow here and can be picked. The Barco Reale team will be happy to give you tips for your camping cuisine – for example, how to prepare the Tuscan panzanella salad.
