Among the many campsites hidden away behind the dunes of the 17-kilometre long Renesse sandy beach, the Strandpark De Zeeuwse Kust is exceptional in many respects. Most of the campsites you will find in this area have been established for some considerable time, but De Zeeuwse Kust was only established during the year 2000. The campsite, two bungalow parks and a hotel were completely replanned.
The main building with the premium restaurant and the DOK beach café, the indoor pool, the sauna and many other facilities underline the high quality of this site. The campsite distinguishes itself by its large pitches, all of them with hook-ups and some even with private sanitary facilities. The pitches are separated by hedges of wild roses, and the numerous trees that were planted still need to grow. The park lies very close to the beach and you can quickly reach the vibrant centre of Renesse by bike or by hopping on the free transfer bus.

Beach, North Sea waves, wide horizon, good air, breathe deeply, cycle, walk by the sea - welcome to Zeeland! Enjoy the many shopping and restaurant options in the popular seaside resort of Renesse. Discover the centuries-old harbour towns like Middelburg or Veere. Visit Zierikzee, where you can stroll through the historic Nordhavenpoort or the Nobelpoort to the town hall and the popular weekly market. Vlissingen with its beach promenade, seamen's building, harbour and the maritime "MuZEEum" is also a popular destination.
Families can visit seals & co. at the Neeltje Jans adventure park. The park on a former working island provides information about the North Sea, protection from its floods and the construction of the huge delta barrier in the Scheldt. On the other side, in Belgium, you reach Antwerp. Here, the district of diamond cutters and traders, museums, harbour tours, a fabulously beautiful railway station and the popular zoo attract visitors.
The largest winery in the Netherlands is located in Dreischor, about 20 km from the campsite. There, white grapes (Rivaner, Auxerrois, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris) are cultivated, pressed and partly stored in oak barrels. The result is about 60,000 exclusive bottles per year. An in-house sparkling wine and some brandies are also available.
