Les Criques de Porteils is a small, family-run 5 star campsite for active campers who are interested in nature and culture
Rather untypical for France is the classic camping flair: the number of rental accommodations is small relative to the size of the site. There are more camping pitches. These are of varying sizes, adapted to the varied terrain profile.

Choose from panoramic pitches with a sea view or pitches on the side facing away from the sea with a dream view across the vineyards to the mountains. Camping Les Criques de Porteils is open from March to the end of October, ideal for relaxed holidays in the mild early and late seasons. Les Criques de Porteils is also a nice stopover for those wintering in Spain and Portugal.

Wonderful hiking trails, old fortress ruins and fantastic views of the sea
Famous vineyards around the charming harbour town of Collioure and Banyuls are as tempting as boat excursions along the picturesque rocky coast from Port Vendres. Barcelona, Girona and snow-capped Pyrenean peaks are only a day trip away. Narbonne and the old town of Perpignan with its medieval city fortifications and the Palace of the Kings of Majorca are also inviting places for a stroll.
