From Südsee-Camp in Wietzendorf you can reach exciting day trip destinations for the whole family: look forward to a day full of action at Heide-Park Soltau or an exciting safari at Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen. Animal fans explore the Walsrode World Bird Park or the Lüneburg Heath Zoo. Skiing and tobogganing fun is offered by the Snow-Dome Bispingen. Young and old race against each other on the neighbouring Ralf Schumacher karting track. Take a leisurely ride in a horse-drawn carriage, on a bicycle or in hiking boots through the Lüneburg Heath, which blossoms in glorious purple in midsummer and late summer.

If you love shopping, it's worth taking a stroll through the castle and half-timbered town of Celle or the Designer Outlet Soltau. If you haven't found the right shoes, enjoy the tickle under your feet at the barefoot park in Egestorf. Many other excursion destinations include the historic salt city of Lüneburg and Hamburg with its Elbphilharmonie, harbour tour, Michel and Outer Alster, Miniature Wonderland and Hagenbeck's zoo.
