The CMT trade fair in Stuttgart, the most popular camping and travel trade fair at the beginning of this year, provided the perfect start to the 30th anniversary of LeadingCampings.
30 years of LeadingCampings of Europe - successful start to the 2024 season
What began in 1994 with the founding of the visionary camping entrepreneurs of Union Lido (Italy), Südsee-Camp (Germany) and Playa Montroig Camping Resort (Spain) has become a unique success story. This was celebrated - as was the addition of eight new, carefully selected LeadingCampings. As a guest, you can now enjoy an even greater choice of first-class campsites.
Eight new LeadingCampings in the "Leadings-Family"

In 2024, we look forward to these eight new LeadingCampings that will inspire and delight discerning campers:
Ostseecamping Heide near Eckernförde, InselCamp on Fehmarn and Bodenmais Camping Resort are expanding the LeadingCamping portfolio in Germany. The holiday paradise Natterer See in Tyrol is the fifth LeadingCamping partner in Austria. In Italy, Glamping Boutique Lago Idro and Camping Lago di Levico add to the portfolio. With Camping Vestar in Rovinj, Croatia, and Camping Les Mouettes in Brittany, LeadingCampings has grown to 45 leading campsites.

Even more guest service: the digital LeadingCard and the new website
The completely modernised, fresh website in seven languages and the digitalisation of the LeadingCard point the way to the future. As a LeadingCard holder, you can now collect your bonus points conveniently using your smartphone. You can also view your current points balance and available rewards online. The web-based LeadingCard is even easier to use than an app.
LeadingCampings win ADAC Camping awards
Another industry highlight at the CMT in Stuttgart was the Gala 2024 organised by PiNCAMP, the ADAC camping portal and partner of LeadingCampings. Outstanding campsites received the coveted ADAC Camping Awards, an ANWB Award and were honoured as an ADAC Superplatz - for their exceptional performance.
Three LeadingCampings won one of the ADAC Camping Awards in the intense competition:
- In the "Innovation and Progress" category, Caravan Park Sexten (Italy) was delighted to receive the ADAC Camping Award.
- Camping De Wildhoeve (Netherlands) was honoured in the "Demographic Change and Accessibility" category.
- The "ADAC Camping Booking" award for particularly successful digitalisation went to Camping Čikat (Croatia).
Pool and aquapark with award
The ADAC's partner, the Dutch automobile club ANWB, also honoured a LeadingCamping as campsite of the year:

Around 23,000 guests chose from 58 campsites.
The pool park, where the little ones splash around and the adults relax, with lagoon and relaxation areas: That makes Piani di Clodia the winner in this category!
ADAC Superplätze, Young Talent Award and Campsite of the Year
Numerous LeadingCampings once again received the highest award for their quality from the ADAC, whose inspectors check the campsites comprehensively, independently and thoroughly: Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, Wulfener Hals, Südsee-Camp and many other LeadingCampings were once again honoured as ADAC Superplatz.
LeadingCamping is also characterised by the particularly committed hosts and their professional teams: The ANWB's Young Talent Award went to Leonardo van de Loo from LeadingCamping Lago Idro Glamping Boutique.
