Two of Europe's leading providers in the camping market, ACSI and camping.info, are joining forces in the field of online booking. ACSI camping.info Booking reaches 40 million visits on the joint websites and apps. 'We are bringing together our knowledge in software development and have created a technical platform that will run on both channels. This way we can develop faster. said ACSI chief Ramon van Reine. You can compare it to the car industry, where one platform is also used by several car brands. Brands that compete with each other to attract consumers, which is what ACSI and camping.info will continue to do for campers. The platform has been operational since 11th of May. Camping.info CEO Maximilian Möhrle is convinced: 'Our system is already the most comprehensive the market has to offer and will only get better as we continue to develop together!' Both partners were looking for a way to make campsites bookable for a large group of campers with as little effort as possible. For Van Reine and Möhrle, the cooperation between the two family businesses is a logical step. 'We want to cooperate in areas where we can realise solutions together. In this way, we can offer both the campsite and the camper a better service,' says Möhrle.
