After the last governmental Tourism Sector Committee meeting, followed by an exchange between the FNHPA (French campsite owners association) and Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State for Tourism, the conditions for opening swimming pools and restaurants in campsites are becoming clearer. The Government is in favour of a gradual pace of re-opening as not to have to take measures to curb the epidemic again in a few weeks. Therefore, after May 19th , June 9th and June 30th new operating conditions for campsites will be decided. However, the FNHPA has already announced that outdoor swimming pools could open from May 19th for leisure bathing whilst indoor pools could open from June 9th with a capacity of 35% of visitors, and 100% from June 30th . Outdoor terraces in restaurants and bars could open from May 19th , with a maximum of 6 people per table. The indoor rooms of the restaurants could welcome guests from May 19th , but only guests staying at the campsite. The general curfew that will start from May 19th on from 9 p.m. (currently 7 p.m.) until 6 a.m. has to be respected. Mouth and nose masks have to be used in all indoor situations except when sitting at a restaurant table.
