LeadingCampings are mourning the loss of Robert Miny, the founder of Europacamping Nommerlayen in Luxembourg. The Leadings lose with Robert Miny a doer of the old school. He felt uncomfortable with shirt and tie, whereas projects supporting the tourism made him very happy. Starting in the sixties, he rented bungalows, in 1973 he opened the campsite. He liked best to dig with his own hands or terraced his campsite with his beloved bulldozer. No doubt, this one dated back to the fifties, since Robert Miny was an avowed classic car fan. However, although he loved to work, he could enjoy a cigar and a glass of wine as well. Robert Miny was European by conviction and the name of his campsite was chosen not coincidentally – and the idea of LeadingCampings convinced him already one year after their foundation. Sind 1995, Euroacamping Nommerlayen is already a member. We bow to Robert Miny and will always remember him as a warm-hearted, humorous and brave human being. We wish his wife Redgie de Bont and the three adult sons strength and confidence, to continue his life’s work.
